Representing the MTRC amongst the bike world's Illuminati
Somehow I ended up being invited to compete in an event run by Dirtpunk this weekend.
It's a Cockup (more specifically for 2013 'Es Ist Ein Cockup!') involved a morning navigational exercise around Devon followed by It's a Knockout style dirtbike challenges in the afternoon, in battering rain.
Standing proud against lines of KTMs and Husabergs, Team Mondo Missiles (Harley/DR350/TTR250) acquitted ourselves well in the challenges scoring 380,000 points in the navigational event alone. Sadly, teammate Austin gambled all of our points away in the casino in the evening, with Ed March and his team of beknobblied C90s wining by recovering 700% of their stake at the roulette table.
They'll be a video and pictures to follow, but in the meantime, who likes Ed's lovely dress?:
