I couldn't sleep last night so ended up in the garage.

Got the frame back together and the 604 in :D

Going put the primary filter somewhere near the rear of the engine near the airbox. I have used a 350 shoe which doesn't need modifying and saves a 500 shoe. A bit more tinkering then strip it down again ready for painting.

I have a spare one and I think its a 500 one just got to check the numbers stamped on the end I think it will be the cheapest option in the long run. Don't know how power it will lose or what the difference will be.

Frame now cleaned up and painted

Ready for the 604

This lump is being a pain. One of bolts for the bracket that holds the starter motor was snapped off. I tried drill it out and used an easy out ( MY ARSE ) but it snapped in the hole. Whipped the head off so I could get a better angle with the drill and retapped the hole. Just got to rebuild the engine and get it painted hoping to get it in the frame before next weekend. Happy days

I spent Ă‚ÂŁ12 on two "special" drill bits what a load of pants they were. I got a drill set 50 piece set for a Ă‚ÂŁ1 you know the type drilled it out no problem.
