This is the bike that I have been using while I restored my first MT350.

It has been used and abused for 12 months and it is about time it got some TLC.


The strip down is going slowly due to rusty bolts and not having a big enough space in the garage to store all the bits.




I am planning a lightened, more off road bike with a better headlight, exhaust and shocks rated to my weight. I am pinching Minters ideas and hope to make a bike atleast equal to one of his.
This could get expensive...

be interested to know what you do with your shocks....of course i would need lighter springs

Brian, I plan to send the shocks off to Race Spec. I use them for the boys' bike.
Are you sure you would need lighter springs?
Gary I am hoping I can do the rebuild under £1500. The engine has had new rings and a top end rebuild last year. I don't plan to go silly on paint or extras.
The expensive bits will be shocks, exhaust and speedo.
Should be fun.
