A good sign of a well-cared-for bike. What carb have you got on it? Mine's a Mikuni and they do start really well. Looks like a very tidy example you have there...

no i dear wat carb it is lol i hand painted it same as my series 3 land rover ,,deep bronze green ,, goes really well ( at the min )
