Re: Recomissioning Woodgate67
And i cant beleive your gonna leave the hook on the swing arm pointing in that direction.
Ps I shall have to drop off a tub of tyre wax on my next visit its a bit better and is surpose not to cause corrosion on the alloy rim

Soz chaps!! As much as i'd love to sort the rust and straighten stand buffers an MOT inspector now awaits!
Had fun with the carb this evening but what a difference to how it runs now!
With a soaking in Penol.. some heat.. and a few taps i got the little one way valve out, cleaned off all the tar looking deposits and put back together. A proper poweful spray of fuel comes out the jet now! With new air box to carb rubber, the anti tamper plug removed and mixture richened it runs and revs exactly how Harley intended..
Everything now working and ready for an MOT..

Re: Recomissioning Woodgate67
Gary , no need -just get Ady to run his bike up and down it a few times. When we went to Normandy his bike dropped oil over everywhere he went- an excellent weed-killer. Just make sure Mel doesn't see it though, on the trip Mel had a fit when he saw Ady's bike because it was improperly dressed-NO front gaitors. He almost had him on a charge !Just the decking to weed now then!

That leak was intentional - a prototype 'homing system' should the bike ever be stolenWirralman wrote:Gary , no need -just get Ady to run his bike up and down it a few times. I still don't get on with the gaitors.
No advisories - amazing, I thought they were compulsory.
