very very nice,cracking finnish.youll have a new bike when finnished.well worth the effort.
any chance of more details on your loom rebuild,pics ,cable sizes used etc ?

I spent some more time out of the rain on this tonight doing the loom.

it is now starting to really look like a bike now and there is over 2hours of footage in the DVD so far.
I think this may get to over 3 hours long

Ive noticed you have 2 sets of 'bungs' for the fuel tanks (2 each side) Im sure mine doesnt have the lower mounts. Are these original or did you add them ??

its origanal fitment
they are in the parts lists and both My 350's have them
do you have the mount posts or have they been cut off ?

Hi,when i had my original steel tank fitted it used both sets of bungs but i noticed there are two styles of steel tank,one that sits a lot lower on the frame and uses both sets of bungs and another tye that sits quite high and almost obscures the oil filler cap making filling difficult without a long funnel. This only uses one set of bungs. I now have the acerbis plastic tank which only uses the upper bungs. I dont know why they fitted two styles of steel tank.....any ideas as they both seem to hold the same amount of fuel.

When you mount the tank the lower bungs slightly protrude and the lower part of the tank squeezes on them they are support for the lower part of the fuel tank I will try to get some footage in the DVD and with pic’s

Ive never seen another type of tank or a 350 frame without both sets of lugs. Maybe the other tank was fitted over the top bungs instead of slotted onto them in error?
