Kick starting a 560 should be fun....

Week off mate - tinkering! marvelous!

Well the 560 proved a beast to kick over, but runs well when it started!

Marvellous - brings a tear to my eye. It's been an education for me too.

It goes to show, you never quite know what's going to be inside them and this one had quite alot of previous repair work done on the casings, the head was ruined, it had a welded on final drive sprocket, there was a bodge on the starter mount, oil pump and starter sprockets buggered, new rings required and clutch plates disintegrated. But that's a FULL rebuild, gears an all.
All sorted for now thanks Gary - and a 604 head from Bunker.

Maybe I'll be able to keep up better this year in Spain!

Ady popped in today to collect his 560.. and he kick started it into life!

He also commented on the rebuild in the background and said how smart it looks in that particular colour!!

I like the engine stand with fuel and oil feed so they can be run up "on the bench"
