Another on it's way...
Another on it's way...
First step to getting the MT350 on the road has been done, got the MOT cert today. I've got the V55/5, so the next step is insurance then a visit to the DVLA office.
So far I've only done enough to get it on the road, repainting will come later. Things I'm short of are panniers, gun case, and mirrors, so it's going to be a watch on ebay.
Sorry about the quality of the photo (hope it appears, it's the first one I've posted), camera has just expired. At least it hides the rusty bits and scuffs.

Well spotted tdipower. It's difficult to know what's not there.
Just been checking the parts list, and that's a disc guard on the shopping list now.

Re: Another on it's way...
I now have all the paperwork in place, and ready to visit the DVLA at Northampton on Friday afternoon to get the registration and tax, but have one concern:
I have a 14 day cover note from Aquote, but they say they don't know of the Harley Davidson MT350. Their system has Armstrong MT500 and Armstrong 350, so the insurance paperwork refers to Armstrong 350 not HD.
The Army form and MOT both say HD.
Does anyone know if this is usual, or should I push Aquote to get their cover note changed, or will the DVLA accept the existing paperwork?
I'm prepared to go with what I have, but any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Another on it's way...
When I used Carole Nash they quoted as Armstrong, but were then happy to change to HD on subsequent paperwork

Thanks, gives me a bit more confidence. My main concern is the DVLA, as I plan on regestring it tomorrow. I would hate to be turned away just over this.
