This is my MT500, I thought it would take 2 Months maximum, but it has taken me a Year to finish. Theese pictures were taken monday, today it does not look like this as it is completely covered in mud, it passed its mot today, I was very happy so I went home via the Peddars way, very heavy driveing rain, very cold, very muddy,but very happy. Keeps cutting out at junctions though, then it is a real pig to start again, I think I have over Jetted it (Pilot) but it goes like a rocket if you snap the throttle open from any position, no fluffing, no hesitation, so it must not be too far off. My next job is to do a Plug chop when it stops raining. Thankyou to everyone on here who has given me advice over the last year.
did you do it all yourself? Good to see you are getting it dirty as well. I have just bought an MT350 which I have just registered and it and I went for its first run out yesterday and I am already thinking of an over the winter restoration later this year
