Hi Gary,

The only one I have is this:

Image

Shows how nice and tight it fitted in the end, didn't get anymore as its pitch black when I got home, no street lights etc and the light in my garage is not great...
Its a bit quieter than it was in teh video as well as I sorted a couple of small leaks I had on the joins, sounds nice now I think.
not fussed about a bit more induction noise, it won't be as bad as the 604 in the CCM anyway ;)

Cheers
Ben

I got one similar to these:

The inner dimension is 50mm, so I'll be needing a flared end on the link pipe.
I'll be heading to the bike shop one of these days to get me an exhaust can mounting bracket.

Please contact me via PM if you have such a link pipe in reserve so I can confirm asap?

Gary,

I received my link pipe yesterday, but haven't got round to fitting it yet. It's a lovely piece of engineering, thanks, so once I've got a silencer strap I'll post some pics of the CCM Remus can in place.

Brilliant, thanks!

Job done! The Remus CCM silencer cost me less than £10, so all a bit of a bargain and surprisingly quiet too. I may paint the aluminium sleeve section with black exhaust paint to make it all a bit less shiny. As you can see the link pipe has done a great job.

I've a couple more jobs to do, then I'll see if it all makes any difference to the bike.
