No you can't When it comes to mods the more clear detailed photos the better and even then you will still get someone asking "Please can you take a picture from underneath on the right hand side at the back whilst upside down ?" So they can copy it.arceye wrote:
Roy, you can post too many photos of the same thing you know.

I took lots of photos at different stages if anyone wants to see a particular bit. But i thought there are plenty of frame mod pics if you search the forum.ZIP TIE wrote:No you can't When it comes to mods the more clear detailed photos the better and even then you will still get someone asking "Please can you take a picture from underneath on the right hand side at the back whilst upside down ?" In hindsight it is a better idea to use the 350 engine mount. Less work.

I have to ask the question - and please excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of putting a 604e into and armstrong other than you have an armstrong to fit it to, is the armstrong better to fit the 604e in? ( Speaking as someone who has a 604e modified MT350 ).
Just curious.

The advantage is having a couple of Armstrong frames in the back of the garageMONKEY wrote:I have to ask the question - and please excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of putting a 604e into and armstrong other than you have an armstrong to fit it to, is the armstrong better to fit the 604e in? Personally I prefer the riding position on an Armstrong and this is going to be a hybrid, 350 front end, 604 engine, 500 rear end and frame.
Plus, Arceye converted the frame as part of a deal.
Using a 350 frame would be plug and play and a lot easier.

Don't get me wrong - just expanding my knowledge if these machines. Was just curious to know if there was an advantage. Also have an Armstrong which is a doer upper and still not got the hang of kicking it so tend to fall back on the '350' fir ease. Not ride. A 500 so nothing to compare it with other than being vertically challenged the 500 gives me more foot on the ground.Roy W wrote:The advantage is having a couple of Armstrong frames in the back of the garageMONKEY wrote:I have to ask the question - and please excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of putting a 604e into and armstrong other than you have an armstrong to fit it to, is the armstrong better to fit the 604e in?
