They can be a lot rougher than that yet still give good service. Don't make it so good that you'll be reluctant to get it dirty

Now in Matt Black

New additions include:- Cam Belt, Speedo, Engine Bolts, Air Filter, Oil Filter, Fuel Tap with Filter. Fixed electrics and welded exhaust.
Starts first time and runs well.
Been on an 80 mile round trip today. Great fun.
