Contributions now accepted!...

Post by Bunker » Sat Jul 18, 2009 12:08 am

Many many thanks to all of you who are happy to contribute financially to the running/ development of the club. We are in the process of building a new website which will allow easier navigation to galleries, events and of course the forum. This will also cement in that the forum is truly a part of our club, rather than just a group classification.

Any money received will only ever be spent on improving the club, be it webspace, stationary or even club trip subsidy.

I will ask you to contribute on the understanding that in most cases I alone will decide where to spend the money, it will always be in the interest of the club though. If you are financially contributing, then I will assume you already 'get' what we are all about and therefore comfortable with the fact that I 'run' this honest club with goodwill and integrity. Please do not give anything until you feel that you have already had value.

I promise I will never personally profit from your contributions.

Currently the easiest way is by Paypal, the account is admin @ mtridersclub . co . uk (spaces left in otherwise it becomes a link to email)

This account can be accessed by myself or any of our Global Moderators (Mr Kay, Morpheus, Apophis)

Again, I thank you and assure you that the fabulous character of this club will never change, the new club identity will not require committees and bearocracy and you will still be able to Bookmark just the forum should you wish to.

I should also say that you all contribute anyway, some with huge amounts of time and effort with technical matters, please never misunderstand my definition of the word 'contributions' - I know how much some of you contribute already.

My thanks

Simon

I stopped there as I then read only you and the global moderators have access to the account.......... confused.com... :? mind you it's early, had a late night, not quite with it yet ;)

Morning!

If you have a paypal account, you use the e-mail address is Simon's post as the Payee name. The electronic cash will then wing its way to him.

Hope that helps

Thanks for that Simon. I for one am more than pleased to be able to contribute in such a way.

It gives me an excuse for posting stupid questions.

I hope the club is able to go from strength to strength.

Also it would be great to see a picture of my MT in the gallery. You never know it may even be running when I take the pic, but you'll have to wait for that one.

Cheers

Simon,

Just came across this post whilst visiting the forum.

I am happy to contribute (cash) towards this great forum but any idea of a realistic/proposed amount?

I have found this forum extremely helpful and without it I doubt I'd be this far or have the knowledge
towards the rebuild of my MT350 project.

Without causing any embarrasing requests of figures maybe a £20 donation from myself would be ok!

I can send this near the end of August (pay day, ).

Thanks Again.

Keith.
