Unfortunately i fell off on the first test and lost them.
I am hoping my weekend in Wales has improved my riding.
You made it up that first hill before the guides mate so you should be fine!! mottos of that damn fine day - 'I'm gonna make it up this hill if it kills me!' - Good job there was a church at the top! And 'Don't let the ladies on competition bikes beat you!'

PS remember to put your phone back in a pocket when youve ripped the lining out your arctic riding jacket!

Looks like a cracking event! Nice looking breakfast too!
DSG's selection was I think an 'official' stop, very well organised and a 'set you up for the day' meal. Given that the competitors had had 5 hours riding to get there, I reckoned they needed it
the breakfast stop, the Bull I' th' Thorn Inn grid ref SK 128 665.
You can see Rustybike and Gronk on the rh side of the shot in this vid

I know DSG organised the meet up and ride over to watch this last year. Is anybody going to watch this time? I fancy it again, the breaky was good and the ride from there to Bamford Lane was enjoyable to. If so has a meeting point been chosen?

Haha. In the Can Am clip about 12.50 a bike crashes and Rus is seen walking past leaving the rider to it.
The annoying thing about the restarts is that a 350 is seen as a lighter more capable bike than a 500. So i will have to do more restarts than Minter.

The timings have just come through with confirmation of the pub, so the plan would be to meet up at 0720 at the breakfast stop, the Bull I' th' Thorn Inn grid ref SK 128 665, as per last year. After breakfast we would ride to Bamford Clough in time to see the first competitors come through the section. We aim to be at the parking area by 0830.

If there is any demand Richard is happy to do a guided tour around the area later on.

Please confirm if you are coming. If it is anything like last year's event, it will be a great day and we will be able to cheer on Gary Minter and Phil Arceye as they ride through.
Cheers
