Thanks for all your support fellow MT'ers! :D
I'm having a great time with 'Colonel Chaos' and now my lad has got his bike back from the garage, a 50cc Derbi Sender scrambler, we are off on a ride out tonight! :P

I've been looking forward to this bit for ages!!!!!

sooooooooooo happy!

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

:o My son just stacked his bike into the back of a parked fiesta!
He's doing an impression of Elvis (all shook up) but he's okay, a couple of grazes , dented pride but ok. Stupid thing was he'd done excellently for an hour's ride, but saw his mate down the seafront and waved  lost concentration and smacked straight into the right hand car bumper, shearing off his gear lever, then wobbled into me, I pulled out the way and he ended up on the floor, bike on top of him infront of the car. Very scary to see but after making him keep still until I checked for broken bones, he got up and guess what? Ran to the bike to check if it was damaged! bloody typical!

He says he's learnt a valuable lesson, lets's hope he has. :?

Along as he's ok thats the main thing, probably has learnt a lesson about watching where he is going at not to high a price. Had you had your side stand shortened or did you have to find some thing to prop the bike against while you checked your lad over?

Just to update my lad's a bit stiff today, but managed to get back on again and get over the fear of falling off again :D And yes my side stand was done but I nearly threw the bike on the floor in haste, but realised I'd be no good to him if I get trapped under my own bike! ;)
