Madstu's Minter Rebuild!

Post by Minter » Thu Aug 16, 2012 5:07 pm

Right here we go.....!

Now most of us on here know our old friend Madstu entered the Dawn to Dusk on his trusty MT last year putting lots of effort and cash into race prepping it! Only to crashout on the first corner snapping the gear selector shaft! Its been busted since then!

A new shaft has been kindly donated by Simon and ive now got the bike in my workshop - it wont be getting the blue treatment just yet but should be all up and running for Stu to join us on the North Wales ride out!

I'll take some pics as things progress so that Stu can see how to repair it next time he breaks it!

Right off to the workshop to see what i can do!......................... I may be some time!

Was it two years ago when he couldn't even get to the N Wales startpoint without losing a knobble off his new tyres?

Nice one Gary- you may have got a job for life there !!
