Arromanches Municiple campsite, cheap but excellent, in a village with pubs and restaurants, home of the Mulberry Harbour, a museum, cinema 360 and central to all you will want to see along the coast.

Is this something you were doing on your own or did you want some company. Missed the 2010 trip but would like to do it.

Thought you might say that. Need to look at the logistics of timings before I can commit, already going to N wales weekend and September is quite busy. How long were you likley to allow?

If you can only allow a couple of nights you'll still be able to see loads quite easily.

Gaz, I mentioned it in another thread and was ridiculed, So bugger it Ive nothing to loose mentioning it again :D :D :D
Check out the war and peace web site and take advantage of their cheap ferry tickets to French France. Just bear in mind bud, that the ferry only goes to Dunkirk or calais and not to bloody KENT
I dont know if it suits but is just a thought.
Nico.
