Back home safe and well, all the aforementioned congratulations are truely echoed by myself. Thanks also to everyone that turned up and made it so enjoyable.

What a brilliant weekend!

Exceptional planning from the crew, mainly Mark and the lovely Hilary, Pinnochio Pete and the glamorous Carol.

A beautiful setting greeted us after a 5 and a half hour drive on a Friday afternoon and a warm welcome from everyone there.

The pub was so pretty and full of history and outstanding hospitality.

The weather was on our side for once which made the little outing on Saturday a very warm affair. Boy what a day! The most amazing views, which were greatly appreciated once I was able to stop screaming. I am very proud of my accomplishments that day, mainly thanks to Pinnochio Pete constantly telling me that it would soon get easier and encouraging me on, although he was clearly lying. I would not have done it without all the generous encouragement and patience I received from everyone there.

Thank you all very much for an amazing weekend.

I forgot to mention that thanks to all you that came to support this event we managed to raise Â£200 towards the Help for Heroes fund.

This will be presented by means of a club cheque through our H4H representative Mary the Pink who tirelessly collects on their behalf.

Only my second mt event thoroughly enjoyed. Did more offroading than I expected due to support and encouragement from PETE and other guides. Gradually building confidence
