Not a problem you would have in South Wales, she would fit in well with the localsellrider wrote:Then leave the wife at home.Mr Shiney wrote:Probbaly start in Llangollen, although finding something reasonable and dog friendly is proving a challenge.Xerxes2K wrote:Plenty in Llangollen and I think 2 in Glyn Ceriog. Ok. Accommodation sorted. We are starting in Llangollen. Plan to do the wayfarer and happy valley and lanes on the way.

Well organised then! I suppose that's what happens when most of your life revolves around saying 'I'm coming in to land, you ground folk can sort the rest. ps. no tents, and no Irish.
Enjoy your weekend,

Spontaneous is the correct description! Nothing like having a last minute hair brained idea and going with it.
We are starting from the Berwyn Arms in Corwen. After breakfast so around 9:30.
First trail will be the wayfarer. This is a pretty epic ride.

So the Bryn Arms Corwen 9:30 Monday it is them, unless the venue changes, might be a good idea if a brought an OS map of the area and compass, as I am not wired up with SATNAV.

Re: North Wales Lanes
That depends on your definition of epic. Last year one of my mates did the route on an MT350. He's a good road rider but it was his first time off-road, the bike was a little too tall for him and he rode the whole route with just one dismount. He was coming up to his 75th birthday. Enjoyable, longer than most, some history to the route but epic ??First trail will be the wayfarer. This is a pretty epic ride.
