I'll be there Dave. i'll be at yours for 930 am with a full tank of petrol. Will I need a passport for crossing into other counties ? I'm doing a charity ride the following weekend for cancer research - 30 hrs to visit each one of the Butlins centres - worst leg is a 2am start to minehead ! About 800 odd miles ... I'll be on the TDM for that one as I can grab a few hours sleep and leave it on auto pilot Did 5 countries in 24 hrs last september for the same cause. this run will be a good pre trip practice.

With only ten days to go before my Three Counties Run, I thought that I had better give it another plug. Assuming that all members coming on this ride will be wanting a breakfast I have checked the local cafes and seeing as they only open from 10am I intend meeting at 9-30am in New Mills (details below). We will set off and ride a circular leg of the route then return just after 10am for breakfast in New Mills. There is a further 100 mile loop with a lunch stop at a country pub. Please bring sandwiches if that suits you better.
The majority of the roads will be narrow country lanes, however I will incorporate one or two minor greenlanes. These will be rideable with road tyres.
With not much being mentioned about this event it has probably dropped off your radar. Will those members who are coming to this event please let me know so that I can let the cafe owners have some idea of numbers.

Meeting place: Car park adjacent to the Torrs Public House, Market Street, New Mills, High Peak Derbyshire. Time 9-30am Sunday April 15th.

Since writing the prompt for the ride my MT engine has had to visit the sick bay, it started to "throw up" oil. It is unlikely that I can resolve the problems before Sunday 15th so I am reluctantly cancelling the ride and I will sort out another date later in the year.
