Great stuff, What paint did you do the engine with? Will it be fuel proof?

Thanks,

Hi Arry, Its Plastikote BBQ paint from B and Q, I think a few members have used it with success, I wiped the oil marks off the engine just now and so far so good! :D

Now the fun can begin! Finished off all the timing gear over the bank holiday and fettled the amal with the spares i bought at the stafford show. Yep this 350e is going to have an Amal fitted direct from an old 500! Best mod you can ever make to a 350! plus it halves the weight too!

Having just changed out of my nice blue mankini thought id send the latest pic after an hour or so tinkering! With the bike!

Just when you think you have everything to start assembly there is always something else you need - All the fun of building a project that came in a box of bits i spose!

A MT500 Amal carb is the best mod for a 350 ?
Is that right mate ?
The 500 boys seem to be throwing them in favour of Mikuni.
