so did I ! Been away on biz but at least it's done now. my version would have been terrible ! ..."blokes on bikes, lanes, few sheep and the odd pub with good time had by all" ... I think Nick sanders better watch out as my trip writing is clearly well above the general standard ... I'm sending this one ( above ) to a number of publishers along with 3 hand drawn crayon illustrations ... should be on the Adventure Biker best seller list by Xmas. Thought I'd keep it pure and go for brevity ... too many of these reports include facts and interesting details ... I thought I'd break the mould and leave most that to the reader's mind and therefore not spoil the ride in case they undertake the same route. My planned round the world trip report has already been drafted " rode bike a long way...met a few people and saw a few things before coming home" .... I'll illustrate that one too ! :D

Better to use a pencil as you can illustrate, and write with it...........plus wax crayons tend to melt in hot sunny climates. ;)

good advice ... the best I've been given so far is ....don't go !!!! and of course the words of my best mate ( who taught me to ride ) " better learn to ride first matey " ! Charming !!!! I'm going to take my felt tip pens and hope for the best. All my planning has this level of detail so I should be fine .... he was last seen in front of a cloud of dust somewhere in Africa ...locals deny new village generator engine came from an MT and completely dismiss the suggestion that the Chief's new motor bike boots were a gift from his 9th wife ... should be a good trip ... Eric's report is superb ... reading it makes me feel like I'm still on my MT launching myself around bends and scoffing pub food with glee ! Well done Eric ! :D
