sorry didn't get a chance to say Hi as I were going back and forth with the Unity Support Riders.We had around 3000 registered bikes and a further 2000 turned up on the day. The Police closed the gates around 12.30. The Final Ride (Marshalls) left around 13.40 and when we reached Wootton there were still a fair number of riders hanging around the town. Our back marker had the job of letting everyone know that this was the last ride and thanking them for standing at the side of the road. It did give one a real sense of pride seeing all those people standing outside their homes waving, claping and in some cases, had gone to a great deal of trouble to cover their homes in flags Some had young children with them and they stayed out from the beginning to the end.
