Ask a landowner "can I ride my bike across your land?" NO!" "Can I please photograph the stopline bunkers across your land by bike?" YES!" :P Image

Some great finds, I know of a few in the local area, I will have to try and get some photos.
Maybe turn this thread into a bimbles photo hunt/run. :D

Hope so,Chelmsford has dozens of these, many have been demolished during development,I notice the more out of the way,the more pristine and graffiti free the interior.

I used to be a site manager for a modular building firm, we installed a lot of buildings in and around the Croyden area south London during 2009.
We uncovered an entire network of tunnels and underground bunkers in the grounds of one school. recovered some amazing artifacts for the local museum, and managed to map some of them before having to fill them in.
Some still had bunk beds, tables, chairs, teapots, plates etc.......not to mention loads of old pop, and medicine bottles, rusty cans of food, etc.....It was like stepping back in time. 8-)
