I've just had a look at the beer and food in the 3 pigeons http://www.threepigeonsinn.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it could be difficult getting going in the morning.

Did it list the beers and the malt selection? The landlord is very welcoming too. And don't forget the views Ellrider, it'll be difficult to tear you away.

I hadn't read the history related to Three Pidgeons until now. Was there anywhere in Wales that Owain Glyndwr didn't frequent? he probably had a four legged MT !
The list of ales and menu selection look so appealing that perhaps we should kick this silly idea of riding Offa's Dyke into touch and spend the whole time at the Pidgeons! Only joking.

The bike is packed and fuelled up can't wait to start.

See you there at the Pidgeons late afternoon Wednesday and for those going directly to the start at Prestatyn I am planning being there at about 9-45am for a 10am start on the Thursday morning.

Unlike DSG my bike isn't packed up yet, BUT I have found everything I want to take and had a trial run putting my tent up. I've even tried marking up maps- I think I'll need to tie a long ball of string to Dave's bike.

I've looked at a multitude of routes for the return journey on Saturday. Do I take Pupster John's suggestion and fit in a track way out in the wilds or play it safe? Decisions decisions, all good fun though

I know Brian's up for the wild side. Whilst Brian and I will be exploring the side of Cadir Idris, Ellrider's blood pressure will be sky high watching the rugby- he only watches TV these days, never goes anywhere .
