Right here goes...
What an eventful day!
Lanes were very wet and washed out weather was steady rain to full on snow!
Unfortunatly Anubis's tyres wouldn't let him get up the first lane so he had to call it a day.
After saying goodby to paul we all made it up the lane apart from Owdgeezer (Richard) turnes out he came off and broke his leg!
Called an ambulance and got the local farmer to come down the lanne on his quad bike and trailer with the paramedics.
After loading Richard into the quadbike trailer we got him to the top of the lane and into the ambulance.
That left me, Glenn, Mel, Trevor and Worz, so we carried on and did a few local lanes.
The sleet and snow was murder on the eyeballs! goggles misting up :(
Then Glen (Murdock) came off on a lane and buggerd his throttle cable up so he went to get his van and bunkered the canam home.
Went to pub for coffe and called it a day!
Hpefully we wil have better luck next time!

Pictures from Mel and Worz to follow.

Thats a shame you didnt get to enjoy all those lovely lanes.
Was much the same for us down south, rain and snow.

A great day out even if the weather was rubbish and we had a few issues. Its fair to say northern MT'ers are a bit more hardcore than the shandy boys, the snow was not good, my fingers are only just thawing. A few photo's, including "Extreme Bunkering"

Image
So far so good, we are all warm and safe. The meet at Compo's cafe.

Image
This is not good, an MT on its side.

Image
Still smiling, very brave.

Image
The cavalry has arrived, including a very hot paramedic.

Image
There goes a good pair of trousers.

Image
Every MT adventure ends with a good bunkering.

Image
Poor bike is still on its side, the snow is starting to hammer it down.

Image
Extreme Bunkering, and happy gas to boot..

Image
A car and an ambulance but no helicopter

Image
Safe and warm and in the hands of a cutie

Image
Then there was 4, one of them was broken.

The poor Can am gets a ride home

Image
The final trio.

Can not wait to get out there again.
