Safe riding to everyone attending the RoR. Wish I could've joined you but DVLA say "No".
Any problems and you're near Sheffield let me know and I'll try to help.

Ride safe & enjoy.

Well, I have managed to get the MZ engine into my MT350 ready for tomorrow, as I had hoped :D . However, wife is away and one of my hounds is sick, so I will have to stay home to take care of it and miss the ride  .

I hope it stays dry for you all tomorrow, and you have as good a time as we all did last year. I'm gutted to miss it.

Arss n Feck.
Gents with huge regret, I have to abort.
Sadly I left prepping Bunk til too late only to remember my battery is elsewhere and my 'spares' are not holding a charge. Due to health reasons atm, I am unable to kick her over.

What a cock, ride safe and have a great day.

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

We did see 4 H-D MTs and 1 Armstrong MT at the 10-11 slot, including Grenadier marshalling after riding from the Somme. Don't know if any others appeared later.

many thanks to Nick for the tea and bacon buttie, very welcome after a 70 mile drive in the cold damp conditions. Brightened up as the day went on and had an excellent ride through Royal Wootton Bassett

Greg did allow Kevin to show his skills at tube changing, even managed an encore.

Hope you all made it home safe.

What another MT adventure. Sat off at 8am and got to Membury services to stop for some cash.

As i pulled off the motorway NO FRONT BRAKE!!!! :o :o :o

So i coasted in and found that the bolt had disappeared from the front brake lever and hence nothing pushing into the master cyclinder - hence NO BRAKES

Having firsly thought about where can i rob a bolt from MT assistance was called (the AA) and they arrived and found a suitable bolt from the van and off again to Nicks for a nice Bacon Butty. But as i was running late i decided to go straight to the Airfield and after about 10mins some MT's arrived and i tagged along.

Nice to see a Nick again and meet Greg and Derrick.

Typical Mt reliability Greg got a flat, but between us and 2 tubes ( i pinched the 1st) we managed to get him back on the road with a 21" tube in the rear as a got me home fix.

I'm far from an expert at puncture repairing especially when given an audience of passing bikers and people asking questions about our WW2 bikes!!!. But being shown how to do it 3 times on my bike on other MT rideouts practise makes perfect!!

The 560 ran really well with the Dellerto carb but just needs a longer throttle cable making up as it was tight on full lock.

Managed to get back home without a yellow recovery truck so happy days Bring on Stafford!!!

Sorry I missed the day, bike ALWAYS starts on the button, so didn't check anything saturday, Sunday morning try to be quiet and not wake the neighbours - would you believe it. Kept trying but in the end had to resort to more technical and finally found fule problem, cleaned it and started just fine but by this time far too late to catch up with the day. Glad you had fun and just know I am going to get a puncture soon so need to see how its done ( preferably on someone elses bike  )
