Re: Dragon 2018 & Bruce pollard?

Hi everyone, had my ticket a while now, noticed browsing ( lurking) the forum mention of the Bruce pollard rally .
I would like to make the trip out a two night event as one night of misery just isn't enough!
Can anybody let me know any info on the Bruce Pollard - is it tickets only or pay on the gate, free withe a donation!!
Or is anyone else camping on the Friday night in the area using or know of decent campsite
I did get two tickets for my mates , but I'm sure you've all heard the excuses when it comes To actually pulling off the drive on a cold wet February morning, Ended up on my own last year.
If it turns out I'm riding in a pack of 1 again it would be nice to not end up on my Todd.
As an aside I'm kind of hoping the weather stays really cold through into Feb I do love the challenge especially a bit of snow on the roads. In fact it's forecast bad this weekend so I'm planning a practice run and overnight camp out , to sort my gear out.
Rambled on a bit - I don't post a lot as I don't really understand the internet and forum posting thingy
Safe riding. Easy start

Getting prepared here, still not decided on a route. The most direct way is one of two routes over the Peak District, one being Woodhead pass, which I believe was closed due to snow last week or so I heard on the radio. Is anyone else riding over and passing through that bit of the world and cares to practise safety in numbers?
Heading over early Friday for the Bruce Pollard first, hopefully my work over the last few months means nothing drops off or stops working along the way!

Nearly ready for the journey to North Wales. Bike fueled up and most of the kit packed.

I'll be riding to along the A5 and A41 to Northop, near Mold, on Friday to stay with a friend then over to the rally Saturday morning.

the outfit is loaded up, and is as deadly as it was without the extra weight , so this should be an interesting trip :D
