Iv organised Rally's before and attracting new members is a nightmare. There is no simple solution to this problem. You do have a good core member base so at least events can get off the ground.

You could try an organised maintenance course? . I know it's difficult due to diff skill levels but Noobs and others would find it usefull. Bringing down parts in the van to show use operation and point out known problems.

There is a lot of knowledge in this group and this should be used to help and intice new members to join in.

I am bringing plenty of socks and in all sizes to take the load off Mel a little. I will set up a display in the bunkhouse so you can serve your self and pay Mel if you have some.

2009 - total riders 20 + CMCC guides , all new to the event.

2010 - 32 forum members , 4 guests, total riders 36 excluding CMCC guides who are not forum members. Forum Members new to event 13

2011 - 29 forum members , 5 guests, total riders 34 excluding CMCC guides who are not forum members. Forum members new to event 12

2012 - 34 forum members , 2 guests, total riders 36 excluding CMCC guides who are not forum members. Forum members new to event 9
