I did the RBLR 1000 in 2009 on my Daytona 955
I didn't rush round and had an hour or so of sleep near Glasgow (I did the North Anticlockwise route) and finished in a little over 21 hours. I pretty much went solo as I like to be able to keep to my own pace without the worry of annoying someone else by either being too fast or (much more likely!!!) too slow.
Would be interested in trying again next year on the MT though (subject to me finally finishing the bike off of course!!)

I've been thinking about this, and now I've the BMWR1100RT very tempted to sign up for 2014. Something I would like to do at least once.

I would probably use the MT350 and join a bunch of MTs if there are several (just find it hard to resist a challenge), although it would need to be 350s as there is no way of keeping up with 500s and 604s.

If we had a group of MTs, would someone be prepared to follow with a large van?

I would be up for the challenge on my MT next year. :D
But as for it being a team effort, how does that work when one MT gets a problem ?
I think its best to ride solo.
