Llanfyllin Big Meet April 2025 - Open for booking

On behalf of the admin team , I am pleased to announce the details for the 2025 Big Meet and open up attendance list and payment info .

The meet will be the weekend of 25th to 27th April 2025 . Usual schedule, arrive on the Friday anytime after lunch , a day for riding / sightseeing /relaxing as you wish on the Saturday , depart on the Sunday morning.

Venue is the the Llanfyllin Workhouse in Wales. Postcode SY22 5LD easy to find on A490 just outside the village.

Choice of bunkhouse or camping .The price for accommodation only is as follows :


Bunkhouse (BH) is £20per person per night
Van/motor home (V) £15 per person per night
Tent (T) £7.50 per person per night.

Bunkhouse includes bedding - first come first serve on booking
Tents / Vans ample space

Indoor showers, wc, washing facilities included in all above .


Food arrangements - Breakfasts (optional) should be available at extra cost to be paid at the time
We will arrange welcome pies on Friday
The venue has a bar which we are asking to be open to us both evenings

Please book in advance asap , not on arrival .

The workhouse does not have a staffed reception for bookings , PLEASE DO NOT attempt to phone or email the workhouse or go on booking.com to book for this weekend , they are not a hotel and can't take bookings that way.

All monies mentioned above go to the venue , not to the club . We as a club have overheads and costs to cover , so if you are attending the event it would be appreciated if you could consider making a voluntary donation towards club overheads (suggested between £5 and £10) via the donate button on the forum , or via paypal to admin@mtridersclub.co.uk


Important other points
As a condition of attending the event you must be an MT rider, your bike must be roadworthy , taxed , MOTd and insured . You are responsible for your own safety and those around you .
No formal organised rideout will be arranged , but as in the past we can get together in informal groups of friends and go riding.

Usual commonsense , treat the venue with respect , and no unreasonable / antisocial behaviour . Places like this for motorcycle club gatherings are not easy to find , we have a longstanding good relationship with Llanfyllin and we want to be welcomed back .

Campers , vanpers, please dont burn BBQs , fossil fuels etc inside , carbon monoxide is a silent odourless killer.

Existing and new members welcome as always . Big meet is intended to be an enjoyable social event .
