Lightweight swingarm

Hi guys, I've found a twin shock swing arm that has almost the exact dimensions as the standard MT swing arm.
It's tubular and is same length, with shock mounts in same position, the gap between the pivot point bushings are exactly the same so it will fit behind the Rotax engine, and has same sized rear spindle aperture slots.
Mods needed are the overall pivot bushings need trimming down, and a few brackets need adding for mounting accessories.
Benefits will be that you could fit a wider rear tyre in this swing arm, and it's around half the weight of the original.
I need some help in doing the alterations, and I'm quite happy to be the test pilot to try out its durability.
Anyone up for a challenge?

I will volunteer to help with the mods. Should be interesting.

Ok swing arm has been sent to Mr Shiney for appraisal, I must stress that it's only an idea, and may not work.
I also have some concern s about strength, but I'm looking at this from a point of view of those who are running extreme lightened machines.
We will be trying this out to see how safe it be.
Hoping Mr Whiney can post some pics and his ideas good or bad when he gets it in the post.

All I can tell you so far, is that the MT500 swing arm wieghs in at 3kg, whereas this one is 1.5kg.
My main concern is its strength and durability, as it has obviously alot less metal in it than the MT.
Knowing how over engineered some of the MT components are, I'm hoping this may just be able to cope.
I have sent it to Mr Shiney for his analysis, and if it can be machined to fit.
Maybe he will post some pictures up, as I dont have my computer set up properly?
