Dave Vtrs found a nice little engine minus its gear lever shaft! The engine looks almost new..

We fired it up on the test bed and in ran like new too..

Today ive pulled it apart and split the cases ready to install the new gear lever shaft..

Heres the progress so far..

Poor tinypric, you want to stop wearing that mankini is the shed, it's still quite cold.

Picked up the engine tonight after DR Minter sorted the problem and i must say at a very good price considering the engine had to be split to replace the gear shaft.

You did supply the new part and most of the gaskets remember!
