ARCEYE pulls a blinder !

As part of some recent Armstrong 'Horse Trading' that went on whilst Greybeard was busy pilfering my garage of spares, Arceye agreed to do an Electric Start conversion to my 500 frame.
Last night I endured the Winchester Blizzard and snuck into Basingrad under cover of darkness to collect the parts.
Apart from seeing Arceye dressed in an Arkwright coat and noddy hat, and an extremely tidy garage, there was an excellent piece of engineering sat on the bench.
He's done a cracking job, modifying the 500 lower engine mount and bash guard as well.
Here are some pics.
Cheers Phil, just seen them in daylight, and it's a cracking job.

Nice job!
Phil are you ready for the deluge of PMs you are going to get from tired and weary looking 500 owners with overly large left legs?

Perhaps I have missed some thread or other leading up to this conversion. Briefly what are you trying to achieve and why?

That engine mount is a ringer for the CV500 one - Nice to keep the armstrong look rather than the 350 front mount.

Had to put some primer on to cover up the crappy welds.
Roy, you can post too many photos of the same thing you know.
I am afraid i am now Roys welding bitch for life now after he did me such a good deal on an Armstrong.
