Got it running a lot better today. Managed to get fuelling good up to around 6000rpm. Defiantly a slow process of changing one thing at a time then testing and adjusting etc...

Couple of screen shots of the tuning process....

This is the main tuning interface. Thats the fuel VE table. Basically up the y axis is engine/fuel load and along the x axis is rpm.
Each number can be changed to either increase or decrease the amount of fuel at that load/rpm.

This program is for logging data while I test ride. It shows every possible bit of information of whats happening. It can also analyse my run and using the air fue ratio results it can generate an improved VE table.

Is it a % of the optimised air fuel ratio?

Im using whats called Alpha-N algorithm, it calculates load by sensing throttle position, airbox air temp and current rpm. It eliminates the need for a MAP/MAF sensor to detect the differences in air pressure in the manifold as apparently on a big single there can be alot of noise that can confuse the computer.

Yes I don't see why not, it would just need a little more tuning for start up and I'm sure it would work fine. I will try kicking mine when I've got it sorted.

Well its at a stage now where I can ride it and it will start well but theres still fine tuning to be done. Im well chuffed

It pulls like a train! feels a bit more powerful especially in the mid range. Cant wait to get it on the dyno again!
