I have just finished a project with a Sportax 555 in it and by god its quick. I reckon as quick as my 604. Revs freely and very responsive with the Dellorto carb on. Anyone considering an upgrade on a 500 can't go wrong with this. So good my 500e is coming out over the winter for conversion!!

I stripped down my motoguzzi engine except for the gear box, and had same problem. Ended up having the gear box rebuilt. But the guy from Leicester did an excellent job with the vapour blasting.
