My MT500

Picked up my MT last night of chiefmonkey jay, finally got back at 2 oclock..
well here it is in it's new home. Very pleased with it, managed to get it started but not without breaking a sweat..
Watch this space!

cheers bunker, i will hold you to it!
Hopefully, will have the sidecar completed to use with it, as i quite like the idea.. just completly stripping the bike now, to rebuild once its all been sorted and looking all nice and pretty!
Oh and id never thought that i'd have to use so much WD40 to piece this thing apart!!
I will keep everything posted...

Nice one!
Will you put a bigger engine in it if running a side car? And how will it affect kicking it over with the sidecar in the way?
I have seen a picture of one (I think) but it look beefed up!
Good luck with the project. It takes determination to get one of them started....just ask Paull.

I know with my sidecar MT, kicking it isn't a problem if you use your left leg.

Being my first bike to do up/rebuild, i dont think ill go as far as changing the engine yet
plus im rolling on the restricted licence! am hoping it should be adequate to pull both the bike and sidecar.. we shall see!
