A Maybe Project - Canadian Electric Start MT500

I started off thinking that this bike was going to be the basis of a winter project. When I eventually went to see it a previous owner had done a lot of what I was thinking about. I nearly didn't buy it because there was not much to do to it.
Price was right and I am a sucker for 500cc singles, you can figure the rest.
Took it home, stripped and cleaned the carb, changed the oil, fixed some problem areas in the wiring, put a new battery in and fired it up. I now have over 400 miles on it with no problems. I will probably keep it just the way it is, maybe paint the tank, and ride it.
The front wheel has been replaced by an 18" wheel with twin leading shoe brake of Japanese origin, works very well and looks like an easy conversion. Forks are original but lowered in the top tripple tree.
If the links work there should be photos.
