Nice looking project Jim.

I've just completed one for a customer and have another on the go. It's great to give them a new lease of life instead of breaking for parts. Well Done!

hi everyone have been doing some more work to my mt500 slowly but have got the frame and a few bits cleaned and painted have been hit by a very nasty virus so have not been able to do much itching to get back to it, when you strip these bikes right done there seems to be hundreds of bits all in need of tlc all the best jim

Looks like a nice finish on the plastics. How did you acheive that?

hi, the plastic parts were stripped back to bare using wickes own make paint stripper, does not effect the plastic and was then rubbed down with 240 paper and 600 paper and then brush painted all the best jim
