MinTerisation of the Beast

Inspired by Minters Blue green lane project I have decided to follow in his footsteps and create a twin shock beast.

Stripped it down for shot last and paint this week and ordered some of the bits that I need to get it moving.

The plan is to have a black frame, black forks, black mudguards and green tank, side panels and shock springs so its in effect a Camo paint scheme.

Binned the front light in favour of an enduro style with a digital dash. New Yamaha plastics modified to fit and a new Motad exhaust and renthals bars.

I will update the pictures as I progress in the next week or so.

Haven't seen plates like that in a long time, even I'd have changed them before they got that bad........or at least stuck some cork on

Good picture showing the serrations that wear into the clutch basket.

Easy to see why the plates stick

Frame is now ready to be painted and I have cut off the old toolbox bracket as it won't be needed anymore.

I got the yokes and a few other bits pack from paint so will be drilling and tapping them for the new computer this evening.

Erm, are you really using a round file to dress the clutch basket tangs?

He's putting the notches in so the basket looks like all the others he's seen.
