Having seen this bike in the flesh I can state these things;
1 - Andy is a proper perfectionist
2 - The bike looks like it just rolled out of the factory
3 - If you think it looks good in the pictures, it looks ten times better in 3D.

Andy, that’s a very nice job indeed, almost too good to ride.
I am currently restoring a ex desert storm bike, been sitting in my garage since the war ended, I thought it was a bit rough until I saw some of the bikes still on the UK roads! Still, it is managing to drink its share of cash with little to show for it at this stage.
I am interested in the type of paint that you used – (not so much the colour as min is more brown than yours). Can you tell us a bit about the type of paint ? How many coats did you apply? Any special preparation done to the plastics parts before coating? Hope you get the message, look forward to hearing from you with some good tips.

I like this a lot, you should be very happy with the results of your work,
for many reasons,
not just the quality,
but also the individuality expressed & the nice engineering bits,
anything that improves reliability is to be admired,
I notice you use a later 1800,s version of the jack, not the original 12 April 1606 version, a nice touch none-the less,
but it is not my Armstrong,
mine is a different colour,
there are many like it,
but Lily is mine,
all the best
