Had this with Grimeca calipers before, take the ball bearing out, then pressure bleed it with a large syringe or washing up liquid bottle full of brake fluid.
With a good fitting piece of hose between the bottle/syringe and caliper bleed nipple (jubillee clips/zip ties or similar are good here ) open bleed nipple and force the brake fluid up the line with the master cylinder cap off but covered, when you've done this QUICKLY undo the bleed nipple and replace ball bearing and tighten bleed nipple then bleed normally

Cheers zip tie, will give it a go.

Didn't think about it dragging the bearing up, hopefully not. That's expensive for a brake hose  I think I'll give that a miss for now. I like the sound of zip ties solution, sounds hopeful.

Yeah my skin felt like it was burning after yesterday, I think the blood in my hand has been replaced with dot4. It ate through the latex type gloves I was wearing (or I just ripped them on the bike and i'm being dramatic)

There was something wrong with the front calliper, very confusing as it was working fine and I'd done nothing to it, but there you go. Rebuild kit for the rear and replaced the front with a new one, then my master cylinder got jammed, which I have now replaced so I now have a whole new front.. didn't want to have any doubts about my brakes. Anyone got any idea how to unjam the master cylinder? It's like the spring doesn't spring back out, but I don't think there's any way to get to it.. The only thing in my manual is an exploded diagram which doesn't help me actually get it out cause it's jammed. Didn't really have time to do this before and work on the front calliper as my other bike needs some work so went for the quick and easy replace.

By the way bleeding was a piece of cake when all the bits were working and brakes are now excellent.. A huge improvement over what they were before all this. I'll derust and rebuild the spare calliper I now have and sell it or something providing it works.

Didn't spot your 01 Oct posting. Glad to hear that you managed to sort your problem out. Frustrating things when they don't work!!!!!
