That looks like fun. Well done on the 5th place
Cheers! I went down to 15T on final drive. Ive also got a close ratio box in my MX armstrong and no counter balance shaft! Ive not tried it yet but looking forward to it when i can get out of the wksp!kriscraw wrote:That looks mega Minter!
The only thing I've done is drop one tooth on the front sprocket. Still running the Amal carb, and fingers crossed it seems to go alright.
Is it the fox manual you've got? If so I've got a copy of it mate but thanks anyway.
Excellent stuff! I love the colour scheme and the decal on the tank.kriscraw wrote:Just had the first outing of the year and must admit I was surprised at how much of a handful the my was.
Finished 5th overall which will do for a benchmark.
How does having no counter balance affect things? Apart from more vibration of course...Minter wrote: Ive also got a close ratio box in my MX armstrong and no counter balance shaft!
It's a weight saving thing and something less for the engine to drive.. It will vibrate more but for half hour on a bumpy mx track that will be the least of my worries!namtip wrote:Excellent stuff!
