North Wales really is the place to be Bridge Clubbing this month, loads of submitted pics on The Bridge Club Facebook Page.

Is the curve of pink pipe a fuel tank breather?

In the very early days of The Bridge Club my more literate half presented me with a second hand copy of a reprint of Charles Henderson’s 1928 book “Old Cornish Bridges and Streams” in which much of interest has been discovered including the murder at Rosecraddock.

On the whole I am no more interested in murder mysteries than the next man but when a blacksmith from Kentucky expressed an interest in the full story on behalf of his girlfriend I decided to see what could be discovered about this one.

A few of your own from last month, not much in the way of bridges or crossings but firm evidence that you’re getting out and about enjoying the world.

Had she but lived Janis Joplin would by now have had a hit single with “O Lord Won’t You Buy Me A New Set Of Joints?” I am sure of this.

After a week on firewood duty with much wielding of billhook and chainsaw I set off for the 2014 VMCC Founders Relay Rally with unusual reticence (and a packed lunch).
