Found this piccy today of a nice 500. Op Granby 1991.
Operated by a detachment of 1 Postal and Courier Regt Royal Engineers , at the time part of the 3rd Line Logistic support of 7th Armoured Brigade (thus the red Jerboa on the tank)

Didn't know they had 'photoshop' in those days, it's good the way they have made it look as though both wheels are off the ground.

Mine's an ex Gramby bike, engine was sand coloured till I painted it, head still sandy colour.
On tank have a square badge painted blue with a red triangle painted inside, pointy side up and a figure five on the bottom right hand corner. any ideas anyone. If I knew how to take photo's and up/download them i'd be a genius and do it, save me writing long essays in explanations

It is a Brigade Marker & Sholder Flash, worn on uniform
in some regiments if more than 1 Battalion like Para have 3 of them
Rad Blue Green = 1 2 or 3 Para if a squire with 1 color green & a arrow = pathfinder plt 2 Para, then all 3 colors then Brigade HQ if a white arrow Pathfinder Plt aka Brigade Darts Team.
Erik has a Pathfinder Badge as his Avatar on here from Ireland
Yours sound like a field force (now Brigade, changed during the cold war) patch to me as mine was for a time a red triangle black piping & a black Dragon, look at some of the mil sites or wiki British Army Brigade Flashes
