It doesn't look to be going down very quickly. I wonder how many of the rough ones they have scrapped?

they have been drip feeding them out over the last year
and the reason for that is to keep the price up on them if they just sold them out
this would flood the market and they would not get top money for them

As per the link below, in April this year I reckoned there were 83 stillages each with 6 bikes plus others in the yard, about 500 in total. This hadn't gone down much over the prior 6 months.
It's hard to tell how deep the stack is from this recent photo, but I suspect the total a a few hundred at least.

I'd be amazed if they actually scrap any, although there haven't been many MT350s in bits on a pallet in recent tenders

I wouldn't be amazed. If its worth more in scrap it will get weighed in like the Bedfords and Sankey trailers.

There were about 2500 in service, and I would be suprised if more than 500 were written off. As we know, they are very robust, the worst ones look to be those used in competitions.

If they sell 10 a week, every week, it will take 4 to 5 years to clear them all. MOD may keep the best in reserve for a few years, so pass them to Withams in batches

There's thirty still-ages with 6 bikes in and a few oddments...so just less then 200 hundred bikes...there were a few put in he last tender and i believe some members made some offers for them. Not many really..I think there are 3 mt 500 on site but there only for cash deals and only if withams want to sell them at the time..i know a diesel bike has been sold and there's 1 more that might be up for grabs but that's not for me to say..Gentleman withams is a business they got to make a profit..or they will go bust..they are under contact to sell the military's stuff for the best price. All i can say is everybody there works like hell every day you can not imagine how long it takes to prep a tender...Sorry for the rant

I have the same photo taken about 8 months ago when I picked mine up. Though then the cages were about four maybe 5 deep. If I can find it then I'll post it

Cheers
