When i was working for the mod we had a rush job of respraying all the MT 350s for the RAF regiment for op telic and we had next to no time available so the paintwork and masking off was none too clever. Even the mod had problems getting hold of the paint.

When we used to spray our vehicles for their annual PRE inspections, masking tape was like rocking horse manure. We just used to grease everything that wasn't supposed to have paint on, then wipe it off when the paint was dry. Worked a treat, if not a little messy.

But that's what the duty sprog was there for ! :D

Bikes were only ever brush painted.
