Test drive a "new" MT500e

Further to viewing the images of sirhrmechanic's MT500e I had a look at the USA --ay website. There I came across two 500e for sale, both with very low mileages. As well as several superb images you can view a short You Tube type of film taken from a head cam. Being a new bike it was interesting to see that there was no clonk / jerk as first gear was selected (clutch ok), how smooth and clean the carb was and a good exhaust note, no fluffy / chugging sound, just a good beat. It also appeared to have a different end to the silencer and certainly the silencer had a much larger outlet than ours.

It is probably the nearest you will get to riding new MT.

A different carb to ours I think, and the 'muffler' has a spark arrestor
