I've just purchased an MT500 rolling chassis minus engine.I am 90% sorted for a Yamaha FJ1100 and also a set of XJR1300 pistons. YamStrong1300 here we come.

well the year of production is the 'C', the B 'NX' is the DVLA area it was registered in, the numbers are just that. So yes there will be more chance of the year being the same with the bikes, the registration area may be that where one of the old disposal agents were.

just been looking at my plates. My landrover (ex manchester police) is from Luton on a K reg, my Super Tenere I bought from Bradford area, Also from Luton on a J reg, so from the same office and a year apart. I live in Sheffield...
