Site Gallery (please read)

Post by StackerMel » Sun Jan 31, 2010 7:59 pm

All, our leader (Bunker) has asked me to look after the sites gallery. I have made a start, but it is still very much work in progress. The gallery will not be hosting every single photo ever taken of MT’s; it is more to give a taste to new members as to what we are all about.

I plan to have 5 main areas:
• Regional Meetings
• Members Bikes
• The Big Meets
• Modifications
• Rebuilds

So this post is to really ask for your photos, if you have any from a regional meet, please email then to me with dates and a few words for each photo. I would also like a photo of every members bike (prosperities sake) please dig out your best one and email it to me, if you have more than one bike email me 1 for each bike.

The Big Meets, not sure what constitutes a big meet? Maybe over 20 bikes, so you may find Haverdots weekend and the Dragon move to here. What do we think?

Modifications, there are some really resourceful and intuitive folks on here who some weird and wonderful things, I think these are worth capturing. So headlight mods, panniers racks, exhausts, tanks..sidecars. Basically anything non standard that may be of interest will reside here.

Rebuilds, again there has been some great work done as an example anyone joining in the site in two years time is unlikely to track back to Craig’s rebuild, things like this I would like to capture. So if you have carried out a rebuild, please let me have the before and after shot and about 8 or so photos of the progress.

Like I say this is work in progress but I need your photos to make it work. If you have any comments or thoughts please share them. Also keep in mind this is not a photo hosting facility, continue posting photos in the forum as normal.

Thanks

Mel

You don't need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Hi Mel,
Saw this bit above and thought you could include my bike on the Forum gallery as it has been modified to an MT350 'Lowrider' lol, however, I tried to email the pic but it seems there is no attachment tab so Iv'e added it here and can delete it once you have transferred it if that's possible? If not please advise.
Thanks in advance
Viki

Sorry all, it seems you can not email an attachment via the forum. So if you have photos please PM me and I will send you my email address by reply.

Thanks

Bump. As some of you mentioned over the weekend there are one or two issues on the gallery, depending on which browser you are using. Safari seems to be the best, IE and Firefox render different things, not tried chrome. So if you have sent an image and you cant see it do not worry, it will be there.

There are lots of new owners and new bikes, can I ask you if you have done not done so already to forward me an image of your bike, please sent to mel (dot) holloway (at) btinternet (dot) com. Also any good and strange mods that you may have done.

Thanks

Mel
